“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

- Ephesians 4:2

Gentleness is often misunderstood as weakness, but in Scripture it is actually a sign of strength under control. It means responding with kindness when we could react harshly, showing patience when we feel frustrated, and choosing grace when others make mistakes. Gentleness reflects the heart of Christ and allows us to love people well, even in difficult situations.

Today, ask God to help you slow down before you speak and to respond with a gentle spirit in every interaction. A gentle word can calm conflict, encourage a hurting heart, and point others to the love of Jesus. True gentleness is not about being passive… it is about being strong enough to choose love!
