Devotional:
I’ll be honest- my first thought when I knew KINDNESS was our next devo series was relief! Patience is not a fun subject to write about but kindness, well that will be easy. Until…. I read some verses on kindness and realized we are often called to be kind to those whom are unkind to us. WHY???? Why do I need and am being commanded to be kind to others who have not been kind to me?

Ephesians 4:32 then explains: because God in His kindness to us has forgiven us.

We want to be treated with kindness in our most ugly states therefore we need to do the same to others. Will this be easy? Of course not, in fact it will most likely be a struggle but with prayer and help of the Holy Spirit we can do anything! Who is the Lord calling you to be kind to today?
