In His Loving Kindness

Devotional:

God did the most loving thing for us before we were born. He sent his only son to live and die for us. Since God is all knowing, even before he sent His son, He knew how we would sin against Him. In His loving kindness, He sent His son anyways to save us from our sins. 

The Lord knows how we have sinned and he still wants to have a relationship with us. 1 John 2:1-2 says “I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.” When you think about a time in your life that you are not proud of, remember that the Lord already knows. He loves you and he wants you to bring your worry to the feet of His Son, Jesus. 

Prayer:

My prayer is that you will come to the realization that by turning towards the Lord in times of trouble or regret that you will be met with kindness and not anger or shame. Jesus loves you and cares for you.
